Finnish cuisine integrated both East and West culinary traditions, it is hardly exquisite, but having interesting local features. Finnish table contains various pickled fish, cabbage dishes, meats and salads. It could boast of great variety of fish dishes, traditional Finnish meat dishes are made of venison and game, other meats are cooked in accordance with French cookery traditions. Finnish desserts are mostly berries — cloudberry, blackberry, currants.
