But when fats left from almonds, the effect vanished. This phenomenon has turned scientists to the idea, that bacteria use almonds lipids for their growth.

The Last researches have shown, that quantity of lipids, used by bacteria, decreases, if the almonds are not processed (for example, not crushed). Also the time during which almonds are in the digestive path is important. To continue the researches, scientists plan to involve volunteers.
