Why a Person Quickly Grows Stout After Diets?

Scientists of Stockholm Institute obtained the new data concerning regulation mechanisms of fat exchange. They confirm that in a person organism there is a continuous process of formation and disintegration of fatty cells. At people with excess weight it is formed more cells, than at people with normal weight. Researches of Swedish scientists show, that formation of new fatty cells happens on all extent of human life and at any weight — in volume of 10 % a year while the total amount of cells — both at thin, and at fat — remains constant.
“This amount is constant, as annually 10 % of fatty cells die in an organism. In other words, the formation of new cells is balanced due to disintegration of old ones”, — Professor Peter Arner, the head of research, speaks.
During carrying out of experiments Swedish physicians developed a line of new research methods. They could define the age of cells and have managed to install the connection between the cells size and the total amount of fat at the big number of people with various body weights. Researches have shown, that speed of cells replacement of people with excess weight is twice more, than of people with normal weight, and it does not depend on that, the person grows thin or not. Though at the people which have grown thin a part of cells loses fat and is in an inactive condition.
“The received results can explain, why it is difficult to keep weight after growing thin: new cells should be filled with fat too, therefore the risk, that the person will collect again the lost kgs increases”, — speaks Arner.

New Super Meal

Actually they are the seeds of sage hispanica which were daily meal of Aztecs. Seeds were known for that they increased endurance and gave forces. The maintenance of protein, magnesium, calcium, and, the most valuable, the maintenance of omega-3 fat acids is high in them.
The research of 20 diabetics lead in 2007 has shown impressive results. At patients who ate up to four teaspoons of chi seeds every day within three months, blood coagulability has improved, the level of omega-3 fat acids maintenance has increased at 80 % and the blood pressure was normalized.

Fruit and Fruit Juice Prevent an Atherosclerosis

In experiment on animals the French scientists have proved, that grapes, apples, and also their juices are capable to stop development of an atherosclerosis. Thus it was found out, that juices stop an atherosclerosis even more effectively, than fruit.
According to Kelly Dekorde (Monpele University, France), the author of research, it is appeared for the first time that processed fruit can be more useful, than crude fruit.
To investigate antioxidative properties of fruit and their juices, scientists gave hamsters grapes, grape juice, apples and apple juice. Thus animals received the food promoting an atherosclerosis. Hamsters from control group received their usual food.
At animals which drank fruit juices and ate fruit, in comparison with those who drank water, a level of cholesterol and oxidizing stress were below, they had less fatty adjournment in an aorta. Juice of red grapes struggled with an atherosclerosis most effectively, on the second place there was red grapes, on the third — apple juice, on the fourth — apples.
Authors of the research speak, that antioxidative properties of a product directly depend on the maintenance of phenols in it.

Grapefruit Stops the Development of Hepatitis C

Grapefruits can become new methods of hepatitis C treatment, which is the leading reason of liver diseases. Preliminary laboratory tests have shown, that naringenin, the structure found in grapefruits and other citruses, can constrain distribution of the hepatitis C virus on 80 % that would allow healthy cells to be restored and resist to the virus distribution.
Researchers from the Harvard Medical School mark, that there is «an emergency necessity» for creation of new methods of hepatitis C treatment as the existing methods does not work always and have by-effects.
“But the person can not eat enough grapefruits to receive therapeutic effect, because naringenin is not so well absorbed in intestines, so the preparation naringenin, entered intravenously, would possess medical effect more possibly”, — researchers conclude.

New Kind of Chocolate

Experts of known American company Ebbot have worked at development of a new version of chocolate. The delicacy contains traditional bitter-sweet taste of dark chocolate and differs by the maintenance of antioxidants, which actually is an innovation.
Under the statement of developers the combination of dark chocolate and such antioxidants as vitamins C and Е, and also a mineral — selenium, is an excellent source of protein and positively influences immune system. The new version of chocolate will be presented in three kinds: double dark chocolate, dark chocolate with almonds taste, and also the one with strawberry taste.
Manufacturers hope, that the new kind of chocolate will attract not only gourmets, but also the people caring their health.
