Scientists Have Invented the Food Reducing Appetite
British scientists have invented the culinary novelty — food which reduces appetite. Experts from the Institute of Food Researches of the English city Norich have managed to receive the natural additives simultaneously reducing ability of an organism to process fats and activity of those parts of brain which are responsible for ” feeling of famine ”.

Predictably, within the nearest two years on shelves of british shops there will appear food stuffs with the additives overwhelming the excessive appetite. First of all they will please people who likes sweeties, additives will be a part of various cakes having high caloric content, pies, cookies and sweets.

As a result it is not necessary for people to struggle with desire to eat superfluous slice sweet because they can make it and thus to not rise their weight.

Artificial Substitutes of Sugar Lead to Weight Increase
Artificial substitutes of sugar lead to weight increase in spite of the fact that they practically do not contain calories. Results of the research lead by employees of University Purdju prove it.

During the experiment researchers have divided experimental rats into two groups, first group received the yoghurt containing usual glucose, the second received the same yoghurt sweetened by saccharin. This substance is hundreds times more sweet than sugar, and thus it practically does not contain calories. Animals were not limited in food.

As supervision have shown that rats received yoghurt with saccharin, raised their weight much more quickly as they ate much more than animals from other group.

In norm sweet taste helps the organism to estimate caloric content of food, starting corresponding digestion processes and limiting appetite. In that case the replacement of sugar by artificial substances can lead to infringement of this natural mechanism of the control.

However, numerous attempts to estimate the influence of artificial substances on person weight until now led to ambiguous results. Partly it is explained by the fact that people are capable to control the quantity of food proceeding from its caloric content.

Grapefruit will Help in Treatment of Hepatites
American scientists have established that the substance, which gives to a grapefruit its bitter taste, slows down distribution of hepatites virus in an organism. In their opinion, the combination of this substance with traditional antivirus preparations can reduce the disease and interfere with transition of a hepatites with in the chronic form.

According to the head of research Rajmonda Chang and its colleagues from Massachusetts hospital, the basic role plays derivative from Naringin — Naringenin. Researchers have found out that this substance reduces the level of the so-called “bad” cholesterol playing the basic role in allocation of hepatites virus from the infected cell and its penetration into healthy cells. Their experiments have shown, that under the action of Naringenin the allocation of virus from the infected cells decreases on 80 %. The great meanin has also the fact that medical concentration of this substance are not toxic for an organism, Chang has noted.

Beet Juice Reduces Blood Pressure
The use of 500 ml of beet juice a day allows to lower arterial pressure. The effect comes approximately in an hour after intaking of juice and proceeds within day.

The British scientists from Medical and stomatologic school Bartsa (London) have carried out the research with participation of healthy volunteers: they were offered to drink half-litre of beet juice. Scientists noted that in an hour blodd pressure at participants has started to decrease and the effect proceeded till 24 hours.

«Our research testifies that the use of beet juice or other vegetables rich with nitrates, can be simple way of maintenance of cardiovascular system health, and also can become an additional method of struggle against the increased blood pressure», — have informed scientists.

In turn, professor Graham McGregor from the British society of a hypertension has noted the necessity of long-term researches with participation of the patients, suffering of hypertension.

What Water is more Useful?
Scientists from Germany recommend to drink for maintenance of good state water which is on sale in bottles, especially in glass bottles.
