Strawberry on Olympiad

Members of the Chinese Olympic team have expressed the desire to eat strawberry during summer Games. The strawberry appeared in lists at the 3 number. First 200 kg of the Californian strawberry have been delivered to China, right after that as sportsmen have included it in their menu.
Authorities of China have asked help of America because the season of the Chinese strawberry comes to an end in the spring. Chinese inspectors worked 12 hours, choosing more than 50 boxes of this valuable cargo before sending it in Olympic village.

But the new research lead by group of scientists from Australia, the USA and France, has shown, that the matter is not in taste, but in personal values. It has appeared that products and drinks possess the certain symbolical value which influences the person much more strongly, than taste.
Scientists have lead experiment: people цуку suggested to try the real meat or the vegetarian product reminding meat. It has appeared that the estimation of taste was influenced more not with real taste, but representations of people about that they eat.
So meat associates with authority and authoritativeness. The people aspiring similar values, spoke, that meat is more tasty, than the vegetarian product even then when they were offered two identical meat dishes (the vegetarian dish have secretly changed by the real meat).

Almonds Positively Influence Health

Results of Grocery Researches Institute about possible properties of almonds cellulose which can help with improvement of digestive system work of the person by increase of useful bacteria quantity recently published.
The scientific work published in «Applied and Environmental Microbiology», proves, that the crushed almonds considerably increase level of intestinal bacteria (useful bacteria are the part of our protection against pathogenic microorganisms and also influence the immunity becoming). But when fats left from almonds, the effect vanished. This phenomenon has turned scientists to the idea, that bacteria use almonds lipids for their growth.
The Last researches have shown, that quantity of lipids, used by bacteria, decreases, if the almonds are not processed (for example, not crushed). Also the time during which almonds are in the digestive path is important. To continue the researches, scientists plan to involve volunteers.

In Kaliningrad Area the Monument to Sprats Have Put

In the city of Mamonovo in the Kaliningrad area the monument to sprats is established. It represents the copper can established on a little table of which sprats jump out, and one of them is in a crown.
According to Oleg Shlyk the head of municipal education, which was the initiator of this installation, the similar sight will help to attract tourists in the city, and also symbolizes the high quality of Russian fish production. Shlyk has noted, that the fish-canning combine run in the city since 1949 that is why it is possible to consider Mamonovo as the native land of sprats.

Turmeric Can Be a Medicine for Diabetes and Adiposity

Turmeric, the Asian spice, since ancient times, is applied in the medical purposes to reduce attributes of an inflammation, healing of wounds and reduce pain. So scientists have proved, that turmeric, added in the food allowance of laboratory mice, has made animals less susceptible to development of diabetes. Also it has been found out, that at these rodents processes of an inflammation in fat and liver considerably have decreased. The American physicians believe, that turmericum, an antioxidizing component in the grass, possesses properties to reduce resistance of insulin and to prevent diabetes.
Turmeric has no restriction of the consumption doze, at least, 12 gram daily will not damage to a human body, doctors speak.
