Eating BreakfastIf you happened to have breakfast in some official place, then try to recollect these simple rules of eating regular breakfast food would.

Bread

Bread is served on the table sliced, or portions buns are served for breakfast. The best variant for bread keeper is braded wooden basket, lined with a napkin, to prevent crumbles go through wigs.

To start eating, put few bread slices ob your personal bread plate. According to etiquette rules, you it is not advisable to bite bread, you should break single bits off bread slice with your fingers. If doing this while eating, put fork or spoon aside.

Butter

Butter is served on the table in common butter dish (it is better to use butter dish with shallow bottom), special butter knife is placed aside (common butter knife’s blade is wider than that of personal one). The butter’s consistency should be firm, but not overfrozen or melted.

If you wish to have butter, take butter dish in your hand, cut a piece of butter, having desired size, and, lifting it with a knife’s tip, put on the edge of your plate. Put butter dish back on its place. Then break your slice of bread into bite-sized pieces and butter them with a tip of your personal butter knife. Now you can eat your bread-and-butter.

Eggs

Soft-cooked eggs are always served in special egg bowl on a stem, putting an egg with its smaller tip up.

To break and egg, you can use your knife’s handle. Tap the egg’s tip around to crush the shell completely, put the knife aside, take teaspoon and remove the crushed area of the shell with a thin layer of egg white. Then clean the egg with your fingers to halve the egg’s height, eat this part of egg. Then clean the egg to the bottom and eat it up.

Hard-boiled eggs are served in common wicker or wooden plate, lined with a napkin, to prevent tapping eggs one with another. To start eating, take an egg in your left hand and a knife — in your right hand. Tap slightly once or twice on the smaller egg tip, without damaging the whole shell. Then put the knife aside and shell the egg completely, leaving removed shell on your plate’s edge. Put the egg on a plate and halve it. It is possible to eat hard-boiled egg without knife, breaking it into bites with a fork in your right hand.

Scrambled eggs, if theirs is now firm brown crust on them, could be eaten also without knife. But if it is cooked with any filling (bacon, ham, tomatoes, etc.), then you should use salad knife.

Omelet is rather soft dish, it is nit recommended to cut it with knife. The better way for eating omelet is using two salad forks: cut the omelet into bites with a fork in hour right hand, moving it to the left, to take the bite with a fork in your left hand, fix the bite and receive it to your mouth.
