Wash watermelon, cut into halves, remove the pulp, reserve the oozed juice.
Mix up 2 cups pulp and juice with sugar and dissolved gelatin.
Dice the main part of the watermelon pulp.
Stone plums and nectarines, slice the fruits.
Cut peeled kiwis into quarters, peel bananas, slice into circles 2/5 inch (1 cm) thick.
Put all the ingredients in the watermelon halves.
Heat the watermelon juice, gelatin and sugar over a medium heat without boiling the mix, and cool. Pour the mixture over the fruits, refrigerate to congeal.
It is possible to make several layers of the jelly for each kind of fruit.
Cut the melon with jelly into big slices before serving.
