Soak lentil in cold water for 30 minutes.
Chop onion and sautee in olive oil.
Scald tomatoes, peel.
Bring water to boil, put onion, tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes. Mash the vegetables with the liquid, mix with prepared lentil and cook for 5 minutes, salt and pepper.
Serve the soup with sour cream, topping with greens.
