Rub the duck with salt inside and outside.
Melt sliced bacon, add butter and fry chopped roots and onion. Pour a dollop of water, add peeled and sliced apples and tomatoes, spices and wine.
Put the duck in the baking tray with the sauce and stew in oven, covering with a lid. When the duck gets soften, take off the lid and let the duck to get golden.
Take prepared duck from the baking tray, divide into portions, pour flour dried and dissolved with water in the sauce and boil over law heat. Filter, add cranberries, cook through and put the duck, stew for 5-7 minutes. Serve the duck, putting lemon slice on each duck portion piece. Garnish with dumplings.
