Mix yeast with a dollop of milk, sugar and flour, let rise. Mix in flour, sugar, yolk, salt dissolved in the remaining milk, melted pork fat and knead thick dough. Put in warm place, then shape balls and let stay.
Roll out each ball. Put stuffing in the center, tweak the edges. Put makovnichki on greased baking tray and let stay. Then brush with egg, make 2 docks in each patty and bake in heated oven for 20 minutes. Season hot patties with powdered sugar.
Mince poppy-seeds, mix with milk and cook for 15 minutes. Cool, then add sugar, grated cake, melted butter, vanilla sugar and cinnamon.
