Combine cottage cheese with semolina and butter, add whisked with sugar egg, and salt. Stir the mixture, let grains raise in size for 30 minutes.
Form small balls of the cottage cheese mixture, put a 1/4 of nut kernel into the middle of each ball (crush the remaining nuts). Dredge balls with crumbs, and fry in oil until golden.
When serving, put “chestnuts” on a plate, and strew with chopped nuts.
