1 lb melon
1/2 lb plum
1 1/2 cup sugar
4 cups water
citric acid
Directions:
Cut melon pulp into small pieces or balls. Halve prunes, remove pits.

Cook syrup of water and sugar, put prunes in the syrup, bring the syrup to boil and cool.

When serving, put melon pieces in ramekins and pour with compote.
