Combine yeast and salt in warm place. Add egg. A little butter, flour, knead dough, cover it with cloth and let stay for 40 minutes in warm place.
To make stuffing, mince nuts, mix with sugar, honey and cardamom.
Roll the dough in 14-16 flat thin cakes, put them on a baking tray one upon another in a pile brushing each cake with butter. 3 first and 3 last cakes put without stuffing, the rest interlay with the prepared stuffing each 2 cakes.
Brush the pahlava with egg yolk, cut diamond shape and bake in preheated to 360oF (180oC) oven for 30 minutes.
Cover the ready pahlavas with melted butter.
