Peel garlic, onion, tomatoes and chop them. Brown nuts in preheated to 390
oF (200
oC) oven for 5 minutes.
Fry rice in half of the vegetable oil for several minutes until transparent, then pour 2 quarts (2 liters) boiling water and boil for 12 minutes. Drain the water, dry the rice.
Sautee onion in the rest of the vegetable oil, add cut meat, sultana, currants, garlic, tomatoes, nuts, mix and season the mix with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and poach for several minutes, covered, for several minutes.
Serve the pilav hot, garnish with greens. Serve sour cream or yogurt separately.
