1/3 lb (150 gm) rice
2 tbsp butter
1 onion
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
salt to taste
Directions:
Wash rice, pour ½ cup water and bring to a boil. Add salt, boil for 5 minutes, then put 1 whole peeled onion, stew until rice swells all the water. Then cover the pan firmly and let stay in a warm place for 15 minutes.

Before serving sprinkle the rice with ground nutmeg and dress with butter.
