Circles with pate
Cut white bread in thin slices, cut crust off and put the bread on parchment. Spread each slice with little pate, sprinkle with chopped dill weed. Roll the slices. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for about 2 hours. Cut into circles when serving.
Wheat or rye brad could be used and spread with pates of various flavors.
Cheese balls
Mix equal amounts of processed and hard cheese (e.g., Chedder). Add little plain or sour cream and blend until homogeneous mass. Add paprika and brandy to taste. Cool a little. Shape balls and roll them in coconut flakes and chopped dill weed. Refrigerate until serving.
