3.5 tbsp butter 1/2 cup prunes without stones 3.5 tbsp raisins 4 tbsp walnuts 1/4 cup red wine 1.5 tbsp sugar 1 horseradish root salt, peppercorn, bay leaf to taste | Directions: Boil prunes without stones. Pour broth out into a separate pan, add Red Basic Sauce , red wine, peppercorn and bay leaf. Boil for 10 minutes. Filter the sauce, add sugar, salt and butter, boiled prunes and raisins. Scald walnuts with boiling water and take pellicles out. Cut them finely. Add the walnuts to sauce and boil it. Sprinkle sauce with grated horseradish when serving. |
