1/2 lb (200 g) feebly salted herring fillet 1 onion 1 raw egg 1 boiled egg 2 tbsp vinegar 2 tsp vegetable oil 2 tsp sugar parsley greens 2 tsp prepared mustard | Directions: Cut herring fillet into bricks. Chop onion, sautee it in oil. Beat raw egg with vinegar, dress onion and warm until the sauce firm up. Dress with sugar, mustard and chill. Put prepared herring slices in the salad bowl and pour over with chilled sauce. When serving, decorate with parsley and boiled egg slices. |
