1-2 salted herring
1 onion
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
8 boiled potatoes
butter
parsley greens
Directions:
Prepare herring fillet. If the fish is very salted, soak it in cold water, kvass, beer, cold milk or cold tea during 2-4 hours, change the liquid several times. Cut prepared fillet into slices, put in herring plate. Put over cut into rings onion and pour with oil. Serve decorated with parsley hot potatoes with butter as a garnish.
