Cut the beef fillet across the fibers into thin slices 0.4 inch (1 sm). thick, chop them, and sprinkle with salt and ground black pepper.
Cut prunes and mix with walnuts. In the center of a meat slice put prunes mixture and roll. Cover the rolls with flour, dip into beaten eggs and roll them in crushed crackers. Fry the meat rolls in vegetable oil on both sides and put them into an oven to cook to an end.
Serve with fried potato. Decorate the dish with parsley and dill greens. Tinned cucumbers or pickled mushrooms go great with this meal.
