1 tin (about 3/4 lb or 400 g) red tinned kidney beans 1/3 lb (160 g) walnuts (kernels) 1/5 lb (100 g) greens (coriander, basil, parsley and mint) salt, red ground pepper to taste | Directions: Pound the walnuts, add chopped garlic, salt, ground red pepper, finely cut coriander, basil, parsley and mint greens. Add a little bean brine from the tin to the mass and stir it with tinned red beans. Add chopped spring onions and stir.
Serve decorated with greens leaves. Sprinkle with cut almonds. |
