Products Needed:
2 1/2 cup wheat flour 1/2 cup sugar 3/4 cup water 1 tsp baking soda 1 tbsp vegetable oil 4-5 drops mint essence

Directions: Cook syrup of sugar and water. Cool, add the mint essence, vegetable oil, baking soda and flour. Knead dough quickly and let it stay for 30 minutes.
Roll the dough in long braid, cut small pieces and shape little balls. Put the balls on a buttered baking tray and press with a knife. Let them stay for 15 minutes and then bake in an oven at 360oF (180oC) for 7-8 minutes until light brown. Serve with tea.
