1/2 lb (400 g) berries, assorted (red and black currants, raspberry, strawberry, cherry, blackberry, honeysuckle) 1 lemon 1/2 cup white wine 4 tbsp sugar 2 tbsp starch 4 tbsp raspberry liqueur 1/2 lb (200 g) ice-cream | Directions: Wash assorted berries, cut strawberries into halves. Wash and peel lemon, grate zest and wring out juice.
Boil half of assorted berries with white wine, ½ cup of water, sugar, lemon juice and grated lemon zest. Add starch, dissolved in water. Boil for 15-20 minutes. Add the rest of assorted berries and raspberry liqueur and cool. Refrigerate for 4 hours.
Serve with ice cream. |
