2 2/3 lb (1,2 kg) mutton (brisket or shoulder)
1 1/3 lb (600 g) potatoes
1 lb (400 g) white cabbage
5 carrots
1 turnip
¼ lb (120 g) parsley root
2 onions
1 tbsp margarine
1 tbsp wheat wheat flour
4-5 cloves garlic
peppercorn
salt
bay leaf
greens
Directions:
– Chop the brisket with the bone, cut 2-5 flesh slices per portion, put them into clay pots, coat with water, add the salt and boil within 20-30 minutes. Add the peeled potatoes as a whole, the cabbage cut in “draughts”, the sliced carrots, turnip, parsley, onion and boil until ready. Put the spices and chopped garlic at the end
