Force cottage cheese through a sieve, add semolina or flour, an egg, beaten with salt and sugar. Stir mass thoroughly and let swell for 20 minutes.
Spread the paste evenly on a baking sheet in 1 ½ inch (3–4 cm) thick layer, or put it in a greased and sprinkled with crushed crackers mold. Smooth surface, pattern with drawing, and brush with sour cream. Bake in an oven over 390oF (200°С) for 20-30 minutes until golden crust.
