1 3/4 lb. forcemeat
7/8 lb. white bread
5-6 cups milk
2 bulbs onion
4 1/2-6 tbsp. butter, margarine or fat
2 eggs
1 tbsp. breadcrubms
black pepper ground
salt
Directions:

Mince forcemeat with onion twice and fry, stirring, in butter over law heat until liquid evaporates. Then mash the forcemeat, add salt, pepper and chopped eggs.

Cut bread (2/3 lb) into thin slices and soak in warm milk, then cover greased mold with it. Scatter over the forcemeat, season with the remaining broken bread, pour with a mixture of fresh eggs, ½ cup of milk and bake in oven until golden crust.

Serve the pie hot.
