2 1/5 lb. dough
1 egg
2 1/2 oz. butter
5 oz. sugar
1 tbsp. poppy seeds
salt
Directions:
Divide dough into 3-ounces pieces; make little balls and leave to stand, then roll into oval cakes.

Brush cakes with melted butter, sprinkle with poppy-seeds, sugar and roll up.

Slice the roulade, and shape the pieces into roses, lilies or hearts.

Leave to stand, and then brush with egg and bake.
