Peel and crush garlic. Separate basil leaves from the stalks.
Blend basil, garlic, some shelled cedar nuts, salt and 2 tablespoons of oil. Gradually add in the mixture cheese and the remaining oil. In case that the sauce is not too thick, dilute it with some hot water.
Boil spaghetti in the boiling water with a sprinkle of salt. Throw on the colander. Let drain excess liquid and combine spaghetti with pesto.
Serve hot, sprinkling with cedar nuts and cheese.
