7 pears
1 lemon
4 cups powdered sugar
3 eggs
½ lb (200 g) chopped almonds
1/2 cup thick cream
7 stick biscuits
Directions:

– Peel and core the pears without cutting them. Rub the pears with the lemon and boil over low heat in water with 1 cup sugar powder. Drain.

– Separate the egg-whites and yolks. Add 1 cup sugar powder, almonds and cream to the yolks, mix.

– Beat the egg-whites with the rest of the sugar powder and pour into the yolk mixture.

– Place the stick biscuit in the pears instead of the cores and put on a buttered baking dish.

- Coat the pears with the prepared mixture and bake for 25 minutes over low heat. Serve warm and sprinkled with the almonds.
