Soak gelatin in 1/2 cup of water for 30 minutes. Stir in 2 cups of water, place over heat, and cook while stirring until gelatin dissolves.
Stir in milk, almond, sugar, and bring to a boil while stirring. Chill, and pour into 6 molds, and leave in the refrigerator to firm.
Working one at a time, dip molds in hot water and turn backward, unmolding jelly on plates. Garnish with orange slices.
