– Biscuit: beat the yolks with the sugar powder. Mix the flour with the cacao powder, sift, add to the yolks and mix.
– Mix part of the hazelnuts with melted butter, beaten egg-whites and combine with the pastry. Butter and flour the baking pan, pour the pastry and bake until ready. Cool.
– Cream: warm up the cream with the chocolate, add the butter and beat until the paste cools down.
– Cut the biscuit into three cakes and soak with the syrup and rum. Place the cakes one on another, interlay with the part of the cream and sprinkle with the hazelnuts. Coat the cake with the remaining cream. Decorate with some candied nuts and chocolate chips.
