1 lb (500 g) short pastry dough (see the recipe)
16 halves canned pears
4 eggs
6 tbsp sugar
vanillin, to taste
4 tbsp almonds
4 tbsp powdered sugar
Directions:
– Slice and dry the pears.

– Beat the eggs with sugar. Add the vanillin and cream and mix.

– Roll out the pastry and put in a baking pan. Place the pear slices thereon and cream, then sprinkle with the almonds, powdered sugar and bake for 1 hour.

– Decorate with fruit, berries and anise starlets.
