1lb (500 g) short pastry dough (see the recipe)
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup thick cream
4 appless
1 tbsp lemon zest
Directions:
– Roll out the pastry and put in a baking pan. Peel, core and quarter the apples.

- Beat the eggs with sugar, add the cream and zest, mix.

– Incise the apples from above, put the apples on the pastry, cream and bake until ready.
