– Stuffing: add 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp flour, salt, diluted vanillin and 1/2 egg (keep the other half for brushing) to the pounded cottage cheese, mix well
– Melt the margarine and beat until fluffy
– Dilute the salt, citric acid and sugar in water, add the eggs and beat well. Beat in the mixture into the prepared margarine
– Mix the mixture with the flour combined with water. Knead the pastry fast, otherwise it will not rise when baking
– Roll the pastry in a ¼ inch (0.5 cm) layer, cut off the 3-4 inch (8-10 cm) cakes, pinch the edges to make boards. Put the cakes on a buttered sheet
– Fill the patties with the cottage cheese stuffing, pattern the surface. Brush the pastry and stuffing with the egg
– Bake the patties over 450-470oF (230-240oC) for 15-20 minutes
