2 eggs
1 tbsp vodka
wheat wheat flour (quantity depends on pastry consistence)
1 cup vegetable oil for deep-frying
1 tbsp powdered sugar
Directions:
– Pour the sifted flour on a plate pyramid-shaped, make a hollow in the middle, put the eggs there, add the vodka and knead stiff pastry

– Divide the pastry into several parts, roll into very thin transparent cakes and cut them with a sharp knife into stripes, lags or figures. Lags can be bound, make a cut in the middle of the stripe and twist one side through it to make a bow. To make flowers: put 2-3 pastry rings together, pinch them in the middle, make some cuts on edges (spacing depends on flower)

– Put several pastries in oil preheated to 320oF (160oC) and fry until golden brown

– Put the pastry straws in a serviette papered bowl and sprinkle with the powdered sugar after cooling
