3-4 cups fresh berries (gooseberry, cherry, currant, strawberry) 1/2 lb (250 gm) margarine 2 1/2 cup wheat flour 1 cup sour cream 1/2 tsp salt 1 banana granulated or powdered sugar to taste | Directions: Cut margarine with a knife together with flour, add sour cream and salt and stir until well combined. Shape a ball out of the dough, wrap it in plastic and refrigerate for 3 hours.
Reserve a little dough for garnish, roll out the rest and put on a baking tray, shape sides and space berries and banana over the cake, alternating colors. Cut the reserved dough various shapes and space over the stuffing.
Bake the cake in an oven at 460 (240oC) for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with sugar. |
