Core and slice apples (leaving skin) and cover them with hot water. Simmer in covered saucepan for 6-8 minutes until ready. Force through a strainer together with the broth, add sugar, citric acid, bring to a boil. Stir in dissolved starch, let boil and cool. Add cinnamon to the ready sauce. Serve with cereal, cheese and sweet meals. |
