2 lb (1 kg) yeast dough ( see the recipe)
butter and egg for brushing
3 1/3 lb (1.5 kg) fresh mushrooms
1 coarse onion
2 tbsp vegetable oil
salt, ground pepper to taste
Directions:
To make stuffing slice mushrooms. Fry finely diced onion in vegetable oil until golden brown, add mushrooms and fry all together, add seasoning.

Divide dough

into halves. Roll out 1 half into rectangle 2/3 inch (1,5 cm) thick, arrange on a buttered baking sheet., let sit in a warm place. Roll the other dough half the same way and let sit as well.

Put the stuffing carefully on bottom dough flat, cover with the second flat and pinch dough edges. Decorate surface with figures, made of dough remains, brushing the under side of figures with egg to stick. Let turnover sit in a warm place , until it rises. Pierce surface with a fork before baking to let steam go out and brush pie with egg.

Bake in an oven over 300-320oF (210–230 °С) for 30–40 minutes until golden crust.

When done, place pie on parchment, cover with cloth and let stay for 15–20 minutes to soften crust. Butter turnover surface and slice to serve.
