Dissolve yeast in warm milk, mix in flour, knead dough and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. Stir in the mix of eggs with 4 ounces of butter and a pinch of salt, knead until smooth, cover with a napkin and let rise in a warm place.
Roll dough flat, put on greased baking sheet, using a back side of tablespoon, make indentations all over the surface, cover with a towel and leave for 30 minutes.
Pound the remaining butter with cinnamon and 4 ounces of sugar. Spread mixture into each deepening. Top with coarse grated apples, sprinkle with almond flakes and the remaining sugar. Bake 10-15 minutes at 392 °F (200 °С). Cool the pie and serve with vanilla sauce (see the recipe).
