Rinse and pit apricots.
Combine flour and sugar. Cut chilled margarine in a separate bowl, add flour and cut the mass further until crumbly texture. Add an egg and knead homogeneous dough.
To make filling, force cottage cheese through a sieve. In a separate mixing bowl beat eggs up together with honey and vanillin. Cream cottage cheese with soft butter, add egg and honey mix and cream the mass. Add starch at the end.
Roll the dough out about 2 inches thick. With this dough sheet line the ridged baking pan, put the cottage cheese mass in the center, space whole or halved apricots over the cottage cheese and press them slightly into the mass. Place the pie in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes over 400F.
