Soak white bread crumb in milk. Parch nuts, shell and grind.
Pound egg yolks with sugar and combine with the nut mixture, bread and melted butter. Mix thoroughly, stir in whipped egg whites and put on the greased and dusted with crackers frying pan. Bake the pudding the oven at medium heat for 30-40 minutes. Transfer the pudding on the plate and serve hot. If preferred, drizzle with vanilla sauce or serve the sauce separately.
