Remove the fruit stems and rinse the berries, put in hot water for 2 minutes, then drain the water in a pan.
To make syrup, dissolve sugar in the drained water and bring to boil< cover the grapes with the boiling syrup and simmer for 40 minutes. Then remove the berries from the syrup and put in jars. Simmer the syrup for 15 minutes and pour in the jars. Optionally vanillin could be added.>
