Turkish Cuisine

Turkish national cuisine was forming step by step, they used traditions of other cultures they brought in contact with, enriching them with sophisticated authentic local flavor. Basic feature of Turkish cuisine is abundant use of spices and sauce in a way quite different from other European cuisines. Nomad life made them hearty meat eaters, so most Turkish delicacies are meat grilled, roasted, broiled in many ways. Kebab is one of the most notable Turkish dishes. Turks do not eat pork dew to religious restrictions.

DID YOU KNOW?
Contrary to the developed stereotype, sweeties are not so harmful in the beginning of a meal. As some dieticians consider, the pie or a cake can be a kind of an antiaperitif calming the “wolf” appetite. All depends on that, how much you are hungry. If you have missed last meal, begin the present meal with several segments of chocolate, a pair of sweets, a pie slice, several spoons of jam or ice-cream. It will accelerate saturation of blood by glucose; consequently it will reduce feeling of famine and will save you from overeating.
