
Mexican cuisine
Due to peculiarities of Mexican flora Mexico’s cuisine is noted for remarkable diversity. It inherited old American Indian culture and traditions and became the most significant and original cuisine in American continent. Many known plants such as corn, cocoa, tomatoes, chili pepper, beans, avocado, pumpkin, vanilla originated in Mexico and form the basis of its cuisine. Tortilla is Mexico’s everyday corn bread — unleavened round and flat. It can be eaten plain or wrapped around various fillings such as beef, pork, chicken, sausage, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, onion, guacamole, beans and salsa. Another visit card of Mexico’s cuisine is chili pepper, it can be found on each table as addition to any meal.
