Traditionally in Lithuanian cuisine they use cereals, potato, vegetables and meat. Potato is the most estimated food, it is used in various salads, snacks and goes as main course in many variations. Special place is given to dairy products, especially to sour cream dressing salads and other dishes. Lithuanian Cuisine is also famous for its meats — smoked pork, sausages, bacons, ham. Another focus foods are Lithuanian confectionary, compote, kissel and whip cream, black coffee, kvass and beer.
