Scandinavian cuisine includes cuisines of Dane, Sweden and Finland, they have many features in common. Basic Scandinavian foods are fish and seafood. Scandinavians adore sandwiches, especially Danes, having more than 700 ways of preparing sandwiches. Meat is another main food, generally it is boiled and stewed. Inevitable part of Scandinavian cuisine are dairy products, they drink milk several times a day. Milk is processed into various seasoned cottage cheese, cream, brynza, clabber. Other national meal are various cereals, traditional dish is porridge — oat, millet, rice and semolina. Cereals are used in many soups. Potato goes well in Scandinavia as main course and garnish. Coffee is top drink.
