Kirghiz cuisine
Kirghiz cuisine has most features in common with Kazakh cuisine. Their traditional national foods are meat, dairy products and millet. Meat is commonly boiled without adding any spices. Modern Kirghiz cuisine assimilated many other foods — vegetables, fruits, honey, sweets, poultry. Notable national dish is chu-chuk (horse meat sausage) and aktagan — original sort of tea boiled together with milk, butter, sour cream and salt.
