Armenian cuisine

Unlike many other cuisines thousands of years Armenian cuisine uses similar products and practices similar ways of processing food. Armenian dishes are considered to be among most labor-consuming, many recipes are based on stuffing, whisking, making purees, soufflés and multilayered flacky doughs. Other notable features are prime role of onion instead of garlic and using melted butter for cooking many dishes.
