Grapes for 910 Dollars
|

In Japan the first bunch of grapes of a unique grade Ruby Roman has been sold at agricultural auction in Japanese prefecture Isikava for the record sum of 910 dollars. Buyer of the bunch is the manager of elite Japanese hotels.
As the auction organizers calculated, this bunch totaled 35 grapes; each of them has the size hardly less than the table tennis ball. Thus, the buyer has paid 26 dollars for each grape.
“This grade of grapes possesses fine taste — it is sweet and at the same time fresh”, — has told Hirofumi Isu, the attache of Isikava agriculture, that is where since 1994 the unique grapes was grown up under the order of authorities.
Isu also has added that to the middle of September farmers plan to sell 1.500 bunches of Ruby Roman grapes. Average cost of grapes of this grade on auction has made 245 dollars for a bunch.

Cabbage and Garden Radish Protect Men from Cancer

According to Ministry of Health, Work and Social Security of Japan, men using in food many fruit and vegetables, especially cabbage and garden radish, are less predisposed to development of digestive bodies cancer.
During eight years physicians traced a state of health about 39 thousand of men in the age of from 45 till 74 years. The risk of occurrence of cancer formations in digestive system decreases on 10 % at increase of daily vegetative diet at 100 gram. Though smoking and drinking men traditionally represent a group of risk, research has shown that the use in food of vegetables and fruit reduces risk of development of cancer on third.

Automatic Devices Selling Vegetables Appeared in Japan

Japan can be named the country of automatic devices. By their quantity Japan has overtaken all other countries, their number is 5.405.300. Strawberry on Olympiad

Members of the Chinese Olympic team have expressed the desire to eat strawberry during summer Games. The strawberry appeared in lists at the 3 number. First 200 kg of the Californian strawberry have been delivered to China, right after that as sportsmen have included it in their menu.
Authorities of China have asked help of America because the season of the Chinese strawberry comes to an end in the spring. Chinese inspectors worked 12 hours, choosing more than 50 boxes of this valuable cargo before sending it in Olympic village.

Many meat food fanciers consider that they eat meat because of its taste. But the new research lead by group of scientists from Australia, the USA and France, has shown, that the matter is not in taste, but in personal values. It has appeared that products and drinks possess the certain symbolical value which influences the person much more strongly, than taste.
Scientists have lead experiment: people цуку suggested to try the real meat or the vegetarian product reminding meat. It has appeared that the estimation of taste was influenced more not with real taste, but representations of people about that they eat.
So meat associates with authority and authoritativeness. The people aspiring similar values, spoke, that meat is more tasty, than the vegetarian product even then when they were offered two identical meat dishes (the vegetarian dish have secretly changed by the real meat).
