They asked Argentineans not to eat meat for the native land advantage
The President of Argentina Nestor Kirshner imposed a ban on beef export and has called the nation to refuse its use. Thus he expects to cause an overabundance of this meat on the market that will promote reduction of its prices and to the general reduction of inflation.

Inflation is one of the main problems of Argentina economy. At the moment the rise in prices makes 12 % of the year, however the given parameter is not stable, many people of the country remember the time when the box of milk could rise in price twice in one day.

For Nestor Kirshner it is not the first attempt to struggle with inflation by means of conscious restraint of consumption of this or that product. In the past year hundreds of Argentinean have followed to the president appeal and boycotted refuellings “Shell” during of the world petrol crisis.

Nevertheless, in case with beef economists-analysts outside and inside of the country predict to the president the failure. The matter is that the beef is one of the basic products in Argentineans diet, its consumption per capita (300 kgs a year) is the highest in the world.

Huang and the Epcot team created the agricultural system by combining a 'film’ technique of nutrients with a spiral-shaped growing system to produce vertically grown lettuce. Once harvested, the lettuce will be served on salads at Walt Disney’s Epcot theme park restaurants.

THE FEELING OF FAMINE AGGRAVATES MEMORY
It is better to remember great volumes of the information, and to pass examinations for a hungry stomach, magazine Nature Neuroscience informs.

Scientists have found out that under influence of a hormone of famine — Grelinum – the quantity of nervous connections between brain cells in a department, which is responsible for memory formation, increases.

Grelinum is the hormone which is responsible for occurrence of famine feeling. Grelinum is produced by an empty stomach and thin intestines, and goes in a blood course. Just before of peep reception, a Grelinum level in blood increases and the desire to eat appears.

Before that, scientists have found out, that occurrence of famine feeling is connected with Grelinum influence on a brain department, which is called hypothalamus.

In opinion of scientists, Grelinum can be used in creation of the new remedies improving memory. However a by-effect of such treatment will be body weight increasing, notice scientists.

Healthy Bacteria
When most of us hear the word “probiotic,” the first thing we think is yogurt. However, there is much more to probiotics. There are actually more than 100,000 billion bacteria, and more than 400 different types, in our bodies. They generate metabolic activity, mainly in the colon but in the gut as well. Their intestinal functions include digesting food, absorbing nutrients and helping prime our immune system to better fight infection. Interestingly enough, 70 percent of your immune system is actually in the digestive tract, along with good and bad bacteria. These “good” bacteria help our bodies function better. But illness, poor diet, stress, aging, infection by food poisoning and the use of medications can disturb the balance between beneficial and harmful bacteria. That’s where probiotics can help.

Probiotics are products containing one or more live microbes in a concentration and formulation sufficient to provide a specific health benefit. The whole idea behind taking probiotics is to help your body fight “bad” bacteria. Probiotics can help bring back the balance and increase the amount of healthy bacteria.

Foods containing probiotic bacteria are almost exclusively dairy products, capitalizing on the traditional association of lactic acid bacteria with fermented milk. While most major brands of yogurt contain bacteria added along with starter cultures for their probiotic effects, less than 1 percent of fluid milk products in the U.S. contain probiotic bacteria.

Another source of live bacteria is kefir. Kefir, similar in taste and texture to yogurt, contains much more bacteria — yogurt typically has two or three strains, while kefir has 10.
